Anatta Member Background
Marcie Barth is a graphic designer and art director with decades of experience, that includes her role as partner in the award-winning design and marketing firm Barth and Co. She has been and still is involved in various non-profit organizations. For several years she planned and coordinated educational programs, events, and retreats for Bodhi Monastery in Lafayette, NJ.
Marcie is a founding board director and current Secretary of Buddhist Global Relief, an interdenominational non-profit organization founded in 2008 in order to provide hunger relief programs to the world's most impoverished and marginalized, especially women and children. In 2011, she was invited to the board of Flowering Lotus Meditation & Retreat Center in Magnolia, MS. She is also co-founder/director of the Newark Community Meditation Center in Newark, NJ. She is currently a mentor with the Buddhist Correspondence Course for prisoners, a program of the Buddhist Association of the United States. Beyond this work, friends, family, and her husband Rob are forefront in her life.
